A few birth pictures!

I wanted to share a few of the birthing pictures, as it shows what a day it was – full of exhaustion and joy!

As you can see I was trying to drown my pain in music. I don’t know when she took this picture, as I obviously wasn’t paying attention to the camera, but by the looks of it, I was deep into labor (at least a few hours!)

I had to gently remind my hubby to NOT tell me when the next contraction was coming, as I was already all over that.

BTW, do you like my gown, it was a pretty pushers gown, and I loved it!! As you can see, the next picture below was when I was in my near 8 hour slumber. I was wiped, and just sleeping through all those contractions.

But unfortunately, I then woke up, and it was back to contractions. But at least I had some sleep in me, and my epidural was coming soon!!

And then she was born!!! As you can see, it was SLIGHTLY meconium stained. NICU was present, but she did wonderfully, and didn’t need any interventions!! And I didn’t care that there was crap all over me, I was finally holding my baby girl!
